Case: Case a little polished, pointed crown guards called “cornino”, still has the chamfers a little rounded by the time but visible, good general condition. Serial numbers and reference clearly visible. The pointed crown guard is still quite thick not too polished. Later back case from 1972 most likely changed in a service

Dial: Rare gilt chapter ring dial in good condition, texture still glossy slightly pitted but not spider, turning tropical, well patinated Swiss only dial of origin which reacts to UV and the hands which match well. Don’t react to the Geiger likely relumed in tritium material in the late 60’s during a service at Rolex.

Bracelet: Riveted steel bracelet in perfect restored condition. Reference 6636 end link 80.

Our opinion: The Ref. 1675 arrived on the market in 1959 following the reference 6542 with its bakelite bezel and without crown guard. Several variants of this reference exist, the first being with a pointed crown guard also called cornino followed in 1964 by the classic thicker crown guard. A big variant of dials has also been released depending on the year with Swiss only chapter ring dials like this model or even underline, double Swiss, exclamation point etc…. This makes it a very collector’s reference, especially before 1963 with many different dials, all of which were rarely produced. Beautiful copy of the 1675 first generation cornino chapter ring swiss only from 1962.
